I started making elderberry syrup in 2014 as a solution to my boys being constantly sick. Having five school-age kids opens us up to so many germs, so I knew we needed some immune-boosting power and elderberries were our answer.
Due to the size of my family and the cost of purchasing elderberry syrup in too-small quantities, I started making my own. And from there, making syrup for my friends. And before I knew it, I was the Elderberry Queen, selling enough syrup to move to a facility!
