The holiday season is here, and with it comes all the joy, warmth and, let’s be honest — temptation! Between delicious holiday treats, family gatherings and cold-weather comfort foods, staying on track with your health goals can feel almost impossible. Trust me, I get it. 

I’m Lindsey — momma, wife and business owner. Like you, I struggle with the lure of all things sweet, especially during this time of year. Allow yourself to enjoy that cookie, a slice of pie or your favorite festive drink. The trick is to just do it mindfully and without guilt. 

The key is moderation, not deprivation.

As a momma with a serious sweet tooth, I know firsthand how tempting it can be to indulge in all the holiday goodies, especially when they’re everywhere you look. But I’ve found that when I give myself permission to enjoy treats in moderation, I feel more satisfied and less likely to overdo it. Savor the moment, then refocus on nourishing foods for the rest of the day. That’s the key!

Tip 2: Stay Active in Creative Ways

  • Have a dance party in your living room
  • Squeeze in a quick home workout while the cookies are in the oven
